School gate areas are places where most safety incidents occur and they therefore require enhanced surveillance. By leveraging video surveillance, perimeter security, track & trace and panic button systems, Haier Hainayun carries out targeted surveillance of key areas with the support of high and low positioned camaras and eagle eye cameras. The Hainayun system also utilizes AI and other advanced technologies such as behavior recognition to secure the perimeter and sounds the system alarm if suspicious persons are identified in the surveillance area. Once a suspicious person enters the surveillance area, school managers will be able to track and trace the movement of the person via structured video analysis and alert the security team and police through the panic button system, should the person pose a threat.

Teaching buildings, student canteens and student dormitories are places where most students gather. Haier Hainayun employs facial and behavior recognition to manage access and monitor student flows in the surveillance areas. The system also sets a warning threshold and records the student flow/density in sectioned areas to prevent stampedes and prevent school bullying via behavior analysis.

To ensure safety in teaching activities, chemical labs require extra fire protection and monitoring. The chemical supervision platform covers all labs and monitors flammable and explosive items 24 hours a day. In the event of a fire caused by experiment failures, the smart fire protection system will respond within 2 seconds and sound the alarm in 10 seconds. Moreover, the fire prevention scenario regularly monitors the water pressure in fire hydrants to ensure normal operation of fire protection equipment in emergency situations.

As for security management, Haier Hainayun also enables effective management of security staff through coordination between staff locations, hand-held terminals and the AIoT platform. The system also increases working efficiency by implementing system alerts and remote operation.  

Emergency management is considered a big challenge to school safety.
