On November 24, Haier launched the world’s first “smart home” operating system – UHomeOS. Along with the launch, Haier also released the “Door-in-Door” T-Type Xinchu Connected Refrigerator, complete with UHomeOS. UHomeOS is designed specifically for smart homes and consumers who want to stay connected. The featured Xinchu Refrigerator makes use of the UHomeOS system by blending innovative technologies like image identification, connectivity, voice and face recognition, and much more. This makes it now possible to provide smart functionality, as well as revolutionary appliance management and control. From now appliances can be controlled not only via mobiles software or an integrated TFT screen, but also a refrigerator. All units within the system are easily controlled even if they are from different appliance brands.This has helped the establishment of smart kitchen gourmet ecosystem, and overturned the century-old innovation idea of the industry.
