July 21, Qingdao— On 21 July, Dr. Christian Busch of London School of Economics came to Haier and had a conversation with CEO Zhang.
Busch commented that Haier RenDanHeYi Model disrupted the Maslow's hierarchy of needs and Coase theorem.
CEO Zhang explained that RenDanHeYi Model would be a social pattern. In RenDanHeYi, the “Dan” (goal, purpose) is dynamic and the “Ren” (people) should adapt to it, from which the third kind of people apart from the economic man and social man since the industrial evolution arise, namely self-driven man. The self-driven man aims to achieve maximum personal values.
